Dawn Mulheron

In 1989 Dawn graduated from the University of Vermont with a Secondary Education/Mathematics degree, minor in Athletic Training. After moving to Rhode Island to teach and coach in a private high school for 9 years she needed a change. Dawn was suffering from migraines three days a week from an old neck injury. She started going to a chiropractor and a massage therapist and soon was relieved from her debilitating pain. She then realized how incredibly valuable alternative therapy was.

Dawn studied Massage Therapy for two years at The Bancroft School of Massage and was then certified. She worked as a Massage Therapist in a private office and in a busy chiropractic office while studying for the National Boards. Once completing her boards she moved back to Vermont to join her sister in building a successful business with 8-10 Certified Massage Therapist practitioners and a Massage School.

Dawn is the primary instructor teaching Anatomy & Physiology I and II, Pathology, Business Practices, Hydrotherapy, Ethics & Professionalism and co-teaching all of the massage modalities. Dawn has been the Executive Director since 1995 and makes all final decisions for Wellness Massage & Institute. She loves her work with clients but also loves the ability to share her knowledge with students so they can have a rewarding, amazing career. Once you enter our space she would like you to feel like a part of our Wellness family.

Nicole Shea

After spending 3 years at Johnson State College studying Elementary Education Nicole stumbled upon a weekend massage course that changed her life. She decided to graduate with an Associate’s Degree in general studies and immediately look into massage schools. One year later she graduated from our Wellness Massage program in 2009.

Nicole has completed multiple continuing education classes to provide an opportunity to blend modalities for her clients. Nicole’s love and interest in Thai massage and Shiatsu has brought her to an interest in teaching. After training and assisting in our class Nicole has become a co-instructor for both of those courses. Nicole enjoys the opportunity to treat and learn from clients. She brings that knowledge to the classroom and helps provide a solid education for our students.
